Spent another day in Christchurch yesterday and then left for Akoroa and the Banks Peninsular today (Wednesday). Decided to take the route around Littleton Harbour and through the Gebbies Pass, taking in Lake Ellesmere and Lake Forsyth. Not much of a pass as NZ passes go but overall a great drive. The Banks Peninsular is beautiful as is Akoroa and its harbour. Was planing to do the Skyline Walk tomorrow but it's 7 hours and quite a climb and forecast to be 30 degrees. So I might chill and leave it till Thursday!
Some pictures along the way. Looking out from Cass Bay and another from Governors Bay.
Take care,
