Cloudy and overcast with a bit of drizzle today but another great drive. Very Yorkshire Dales like but with more forrestation. Weather forecast not good for the next few days which means I might have to hole up here for a while. We'll see.
Some pictures along the way. A couple of river beds to start with. Both almost dried up. But you can get some idea of size and what they are capable of coping with. The South island is absolutely desperate for rain now and there's a number of water restrictions on at present.
