Did a bit of the Kepler Track as far as the top of Mount Luxmore today. Just on seven hours there and back. Another track created with a digger if my experience today is anything to go by. The good thing about this track however is that once you get up beyond the bush line the views are really good and continuous. This one is probably worth doing from beginning to end. Mount Luxmore is still on the edge of Fiordland but with views over the mountains of the fiords and surrounds. Some pictures attached.
Will drive to Milford tomorrow and stay over and take the early morning boat tour of the sound on Tuesday. Taking account of the weather forecast at the moment I'll probably move down to Invercargil on Wednesday and on to Stewart Island.
