Hi,
Arrived Wellington late afternoon yesterday. Can't get over the amount of traffic in NZ. There just isn't any! Found a campsite about 12k from the city centre. Was paying 6 pounds a night in waitara. 18 pounds here! City prices eh! Caught a bus into Wellington today. Was expecting something bigger I suppose! Very small for a capital city, much much smaller than Auckland. But very compact. Quite chic and cosmopolitan. And very pleasant and friendly. Just wandered today basically and got my bearings for the next couple of days. No mountains to speak of unfortunately, so I'll have to take a more cultural approach.
