Just wandered round the bay till early afternoon. Awesome! Then went for a swim in the bay this afternoon. The waters a couple of degrees colder up here but you soon warm up! Not!!
Some pictures from my walk attached. Can't do the Cape Brett walk as there's a iron man challenge of sorts on over there this weekend. So I'm just going to explore a bit further up the coast tomorrow. Apparently, the best fish and chips 'in the world' to be had at a place called Mangonui, so I'll be timing my visit for lunch time!
